Our headquarters is in Cebu where currently over 60 people work to improve our services and technology.

You'll be working as an accountant of the company, providing accounting services, ad-hoc advice and oversight to a number of companies under management.

A person who will be able to keep up with the daily operations of a company that has multiple cost centres and will be required to perform a number of varied tasks. You will need to manage your time across competing projects while maintaining accuracy and transparency. You will also provide reporting on request and should be confident to be able to gain insights from data and produce meaningful charts/trends from your financial data.

As we grow, the demands of the role will increase as our business increases in size and in complexity. We offer potential exposure to international accounting practices and working directly with an experienced and well-regarded accounting team.

Job responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Handle daily accounts, payable/receivable
  • Allocating business expenditures to cost centres
  • Ability to track hours / costs on projects
  • Processing accounts payable
  • Processing expense invoices
  • Maintaining integrity of the General Ledger
  • Bank and/or account reconciliation
  • Production of weekly reports
  • General administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks

Skills and experience required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to demonstrate your comprehensive bookkeeping experience using software package(s) (Xero and/or QuickBooks experience an advantage)
  • A passion for attention to detail
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel and general computer skills (e.g. email)
  • An ability to learn fast and be hardworking
  • Education in the finance or accounting field
  • Familiar with complex accounting issues
  • IFRS knowledge an asset
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping an asset
